Tasting Notes Alcohol by volume: 5% Appearance: Very dark brown color with a thin white head that quickly fades to a collar around the surface of the beer. Aroma: The aroma is faint, however nuts, coffee and malt can be detected. Taste: The beer is thin bodied and does not leave much of a trace behind when swallowed. It tastes mostly of roasted malts and coffee. A hint of chocolate is also present, however practically no bitterness is detected. Summary: I found this beer to be very drinkable and would go well with an expensive dinner. It's malty flavors makes it very tasty and it can be enjoyed year round.. |
