Crock Pot Pea
Soup

A simple recipe that will warm you on a cold
winter night.
Crock Pot Pea Soup
(serves 8)
Ingredients:
- 4 stalks celery (chopped)
- 1 red onion (chopped)
- 4 carrots (chopped)
- 1 one pound bag of split peas
- 1 ham bone
- 1 large can of chicken broth
Preparation:
Check your peas for stones and rinse thoroughly. Add all ingredients
to the crock pot and cook on medium heat for 8 - 10 hours. Remove
the ham bone and strip off the meat. Discard the bone and place the
meat back in the pot.
