Tasting Notes

Alcohol by volume: 6%

Appearance: Very dark brown beer, almost black. Some red color along the sides when held up to the light. A light tan head caps off this beer, but dissolves quickly to a thin sheet on the surface.

Aroma: The aroma is very malty with some milk chocolate mixed in.

Taste: A smooth roasted malt flavor, with hints of smoke and nuts. There's a nice hop finish at the end of each sip.

Summary: A nice drinkable dark beer that does not fill you up like a stout.  It is not packed with flavor, but is smooth and delicious.
