Appearance: A creamy beige foam head slides
cleanly down the glass. The beer is a nice orange caramel color that
is crystal clear.
Aroma: A very malty aroma is with slightly
spicy esters is noticeable above the surface of the beer.
Taste: This beer has a smooth mouth feel
and a strong malt flavor. A slight bitter aftertaste is present
after each sip.
Summary: This was our favorite beer of the
three we tested due to its strong smooth malt flavor. It would go
great with a nice hearty meal. |

pattern. The beer is a clear amber color.
Aroma: Slightly malty with
fruity overtones.
Taste: There is a light malt
flavor that is followed by a more fruity taste. Some bitterness in
the aftertaste.
Summary: This beer would go
good with pizza or for a refreshment on a warm fall day. |

Appearance: An ivory colored
creamy foam head sits on top of the dark amber beer. Lots of
carbonation bubbles are also present.
Aroma: Spicy overtones
(perhaps allspice) with hints of bitterness.
Taste: A smooth mouth feel
introduces the light caramel flavor with a hint of spices. Slightly
bitter finish.
Summary: This is a descent
beer, but is not full of flavor. It would go good with pizza or a
burger or when just hanging out with friends at a bar. |
