This is a good wine at a reasonable price. It has a rich dark cherry color and a soft body that is silky smooth on the tongue. A nice combination of black currents and cherry flavors balance the taste and leave a slight peppery zing after each sip. This wine would go nicely with pasta, beef, crusty bread with cheese or a stew. It also goes well with just sitting at home on a rainy evening to watch a movie.
