After
Danielle and I bagged Mt. Galehead we decided to head up to South Twin.
The trail from the Galehead hut was steep with lots of boulders, but we
managed to make the summit in about an hour. Luckily the weather was great
and we had fantastic views all around. So far the view from South Twin are
my favorite of all the summits we've climbed.

While
resting at the cabin and after hiking up to the Galehead summit many other hikers suggested
going up South Twin to enjoy the view. I'm glad we took their
advice. The last time we were on South Twin was in the pouring rain
and we couldn't see a thing! |

| From
the summit of North Twin Danielle and I decided to bag South Twin.
However, when we got there the sky opened up and we had to run back to
treeline to escape the thunder. We couldn't see a thing on the summit and didn't
take any pictures. The rain soon let up after about a half hour and
we had a wet walk back to the car. |
