The
strong sweet smell of oak and beautiful dark amber color makes
this brandy very appealing. Hints of smoke and cherry add to the
strong sophisticated flavor. For those not used to drinking brandy
the high alcohol flavor and burning sensation after each sip may
not be pleasing.
This brandy
is also great to cook with. The alcohol typically burns off in the
cooking process leaving behind the oak and cherry flavors. We used
this in our recipe of the month
for April 2002.
